SAG-Eligible actress and singer with a prolific career spanning over 20 years across cinema, theater, and television. Since her return to the United States, Marisela has actively expanded her footprint in the North American market, participating in film projects on both the East and West Coasts.

She is currently appearing in various TV series, including Fatal Attraction (filmed in Tennessee) and Dhar Mann TV in collaboration with Samsung TV Plus on the West Coast. Recent credits also include roles in Union projects filmed in Atlanta and Los Angeles.

With a solid track record of over 30 international credits, she is widely recognized for her roles in hit TV series such as Vírgenes de la Cumbia, La Rosa de Guadalupe, Al Fondo Hay Sitio, and La Gran Sangre. Her filmography includes internationally acclaimed features like Días de Santiago and Pantaleón y las Visitadoras, as well as the sci-fi film Yuli.

As a fully bilingual professional, Marisela has trained extensively in the Shurtleff, Stanislavski, and Meisner techniques, though she primarily identifies as a Method Actress. Complementing her artistic craft, her background as a high-performance athlete and bodybuilder provides her with a unique level of physical discipline, stamina, and a commanding screen presence.

Singer and songwriter

Debut single “Sed de Amor” was number one on the 2000 dance charts in Peru. This song has become a hymn to love and a Cumbia classic, staying at the top of the radio charts for more than two decades and being recorded by many artists in Peru and abroad.

In 2006, several songs were used to score the popular television series “Vírgenes de la Cumbia”.
In 2007, received a Gold Record for the first album “Cumbia Mía” and 2 nominations for best tropical artist and best tropical song by the Ritmo Son Latino network (now Telehit Music) with the song “Por Culpa de tu Partida” of Proudly Latino Award 2007.

These nominations prompted the recording of the second album, “Escucha” which is a fusion of Latin Pop and Salsa. Wrote and recorded the singles “A Quien Engañas” and “Escucha”. In 2010 “Solterita” became top 10 on the charts reaffirming success.

Returned to music and songwriting in 2015 with the romantic style EP “Proyecto Mariposa” featuring the songs “Eres Tú” and “Algo Que Decir”. From the single “Algo Que Decir” a music video was produced in New York City.

Surprising followers on social media in 2020 by creating a digital show that promoted personal and professional leadership, “Historias de Éxito en la Era Digital”. Thirty weekly episodes interviewed experts, analysts, and mentors providing advice and promoting entrepreneurship.

Mid 2021 created, produced, and hosted, the “International Coaching Summit”, a virtual event aimed at empowering the Coaches community and the general public. The event was a resounding success with the participation of master coaches and speakers from the Latino and European community.

Ability to adapt to the digital age, with more than 600,000 followers, delivering creative and innovative content becoming a respected leader in the entrepreneur industry.
